Recipe for Fun!
This is a simple guessing game. Pour some marbles or beans into a clear jar and place it in front of the children. Have each child write down how many marbles or beans they think are in the jar. With your help (if needed), empty the jar and count the contents. The child who guessed closest to the correct number wins. You can also do this game with a flower that has petals. Again, have each child write down the number of petals they think the flower has. Then count the petals by removing them one by one. For added learning, compare the number of petals between 2 or more flowers.
