Y. LEHMAN ASKED TO WIDEN PROBE IN CHEEKTOWAGA Monument Builder Makes Suggestion in Letter to Governor. Extension of the special grand jury investigation to Cheektowaga was suggested to Governor Lehman in a letter sent to him Saturday by Joseph G. Bianchi, monument builder, of 2376 Genesee street. Mr.

Bianchi referred to the question, "Where is Cheektowaga?" which the governor was reported to have asked Frank G. Raichle, Buffalo's investigator. "That question, in itself, is a fair, plain and honest query," Mr. Bianchi wrote. "But the innuendo and insinuation which seemed to attach to it, as it appeared article in question, hurt the sensibilities of, at least, the respectable element of Cheektowaga's population because of the volume of unfair and unfavorable publicity heaped upon us by certain misnamed, unknown and non-existent individuals who have corresponded with your excellency during the past year or Mr.

Bianchi moreinted out that the dog track brought Cheektowaga into "so much unfavorable the limelight" operators two of years which ago well, that track, Inves- "for if memory serves me my tigator Frank G. Raichle acted as attorney."
